EECA’s agricultural co-funding programmes can contribute a substantial portion of system costs, making it easier for growers, livestock operations, irrigators, and pack houses to stabilise power bills and future-proof their operations.

EECA – Solar on Farms Support
EECA provides tools, guidance, and (at times) significant co-funding for on-farm renewable energy systems.
Support options may include:
Co-funding for solar + battery installations
Up to 40% coverage on inverter/battery components for eligible projects
Up to 20% coverage on solar arrays in specific demonstration rounds
Access to energy modelling tools, case studies, and system design guidance
Note: Funding rounds open and close, so availability depends on timing.
